The institution defines diversity as a demonstration of God’s intention and divine order for humankind. Believing that it serves as a positive reflection of God’s creative and sovereign hand; contributing to the learning, and enhancing the enjoyment of the community. (Genesis 1:27) It is this belief system that is dynamically represented by the friendly environment students will discover the moment they step foot on campus. From the scholarships to specific programming related to minority students, these pupils find themselves part of a program that is committed to their success.

Cedarville is committed to the development of the “whole person.” From student life initiatives to the curriculum design, all of the structures and strategies have been developed to produce graduates who will possess the expertise and character needed to engage their professional, social and political spheres-of-influence with truth from God’s unchanging Word. It is from this intention that the Cedarville University finds the need to offer its students distance learning opportunities.
Cedarville University is committed to maintaining complex balances without compromising their doctrinal or philosophical
distinctives. Producing graduates who are trained to be “in the world, but not of it,” the institution is ambitious, but not elitist; conservative, but not old-fashioned; relevant, but not relativistic. It is these facts that make this university such a coveted place students looking to stay grounded in their faith to attend.
