Yes, as a state institution our tuition rate does increase for out-of-state students, but room/board and fees usually stay the same. The institution may offer a limited number of transfer scholarships.
Most likely you will be able to transfer many of your courses. Find out if the institution has an online system that students can use to check course transfer equivalence. We recommend doing this before applying so you will know what courses you may still need to take before enrolling at the out-of-state institution.
Students should provide transcripts to the institution and request an evaluation of previous college and military credit. It is possible that many of your previous credits can be applied to a degree at the new institution.

Even if there is no on-campus housing available, the institution might be surrounded by off-campus housing options, such as apartments or rental homes, which may offer discounts to college students.
