Congratulations! As a student at F.C.C.J. you have taken the first step of advancing your education and future. Hello, my name is Joe nowburger with Columbia College right here in Jacksonville. Columbia College’s motto is “Yes, you can!” Yes, you can be a working student who is balancing work and family requirements while obtaining a respected and useful bachelor’s degree from one of the most affordable, regionally accredited private colleges in the state. We recognize that cost, accreditation, reputation, and convenience are key elements when working students are choosing a college or a university. Columbia College is one of the most affordable private colleges in Jacksonville, and in the state. Our tuition is as much as half as the institutions with the same credentials and reputation of Columbia, and we have top shelf reputation. We accept financial aid, Florida bright futures scholarships, Pell grant and the Florida Able grant.

Columbia College is regionally accredited; we are the association that includes the University of Norte Dame, University of Michigan, and Northwestern University. Columbia College was founded in 1851 and today has served more than 20,000 students annually at our main campus and at our 30 campuses across the country, many of which are community college 2+2 partners like our relationship with FCCJ. Columbia College has been serving working students for over 30 years and serving Jacksonville since 1990. Columbia College has two Jacksonville campuses to serve you. Our classes are held in the evening usually one or two nights a week, our semesters are 8 weeks long and we have five sessions a year which gives you the flexibility to go to class when you can or complete your degree as fast as you can.

As a long time partner with FCCJ, we have a very generous transfer policy and look for all the ways you can receive credit for educational work experience. In additional to our in seat classes all of our classes are available online, and you can mix and match online and in seat classes to your needs and desires. Our undergraduate degrees include Business Administration, Psychology, Criminal Justice Administration, Computer Information Systems and Interdisciplinary Studies. Our Business Administration majors include Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Human Resources, Management, Marketing and International Business.
