Hello. My name is Tami Beaty. I am an Assistant Director at Nova Southeastern University’s Jacksonville Student Educational Center.

Nova Southeastern University or NSU is the largest not-for-profit private institution in Florida and the 6th largest in the United States. We are regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor’s, master’s, educational specialist, and doctorate degrees. We offer academic programs at times convenient to students, employing innovative delivery systems and rich learning experiences both on our main campus in Ft. Lauderdale and at the Student Educational Centers.

At the Jacksonville Student Educational Center, we offer course work for bachelor’s, master’s, specialists, and doctorate degrees. In fact, we have been serving the Jacksonville community for over 33 years, and currently offer over fourteen degree programs at our Jacksonville Student Educational Center. Additionally, we have several on-line programs for students to choose from. All of our classes in Jacksonville are held either in the evening or on the weekend so you can work full-time and earn your degree. Currently, NSU and Florida Community College at Jacksonville have more than 20 articulation agreements in place to assist students in transitioning to our University.

Students attending FCCJ can utilize the transfer guides to assist them in completing their associates degree and prerequisites that will transfer into our four year degree programs.
