College Fair Transfer Services Transcript
Regis University Hello and greetings from Regis University. My name is Ramon Walker, and I am an
academic advisor and assistant professor here at the school for professional studies. I’d
like to share with you today a brief summary of who we are and the opportunities we can
offer you through our online distance learning programs.
Regis University is a non-profit
private higher education institution celebrating their 128th anniversary. We have eight
campuses throughout Colorado and Nevada. Since 1877 Regis has developed a reputation
for academic excellence and a commitment to Jesuit mission of developing leaders
committed to the service of others.
Regis University understands how challenging it is for
an adult student to earn a college degree. It is especially difficult when you are trying to
balance a career, a family, and a personal life. That is why Regis has had a long tradition
of partnering with community colleges to provide a pathway for adult students to earn
their undergraduate degree. We offer an online format that is convenient, flexible, and
allows you to earn a quality career education in the shortest amount of time possible.
As a
student of Florida Community College at Jacksonville, you can benefit from an
articulation agreement we call A-to-B transfer programs by completing up to three years
of credit at your community college, and then transfer those credits towards a four year
degree at Regis University. In addition to credits you have earned in the classroom, you
may also be eligible to receive credit for your prior learning through our portfolio
program or testing options.
Regis offers eight undergraduate degrees, and six graduate
degrees online. All online courses are offered in an eight week format with six start terms
per year. This accelerated format allows you to finish your degree in a relatively short
period of time, and through internet technology, you can take classes practically
anywhere in the world, on a schedule that is convenient for you.
If you would like to
know more about Regis University, please contact your community college advisor, they
will be able to assist you in evaluating your course work, and help you formulate a plan
to ensure that your transfer to Regis is a seamless as possible. We also recommend that
you contact one of our online program representatives to answer any questions you may
have about Regis, our programs or online learning. Please visit our website at
