Colorado State University is a large public university that is the main campus of the Colorado State University System. The university is a culmination of eight subsequent colleges, 150 different programs of study. It has achieve the distinguished rank as one of America’s top research universities and brings its world-class opportunities directly to the students who want to be a part of it. The school specializes in Agricultural Sciences, Applied Human Sciences, Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Natural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, and studies in Natural Resources.

The university has had a distance learning program for over 40 years and offers a multitudinous array of studies for working adults and isolated students that want to achieve a degree from home or on the go. Undergraduates can earn a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Service Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Anthropology, Economics, Media Studies, and Political Science. Even if your present study doesn’t match any of these four year programs, an associate’s degree is most likely applicable towards a bachelor’s degree online.

Graduate students can pursue a variety of degrees such as a Master of Education in Human Resource Studies, a Master of Agriculture in Agricultural Sciences, a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Computer Science, and many more majors and concentrations. Enrollment has exceeded 27,000 making Colorado State University the largest in the state. Due to the university’s public status, tuition is primarily dependent on resident or non-resident status. Distance learners in Colorado pay $4,040 per year full-time and $272 per credit hour part-time; distance learners enrolling from outside of the state pay $17,480 per year full-time, and $874 per credit hour part-time. The university does offer financial aid predominantly in the form of merit-based scholarships and need based grants. Supplementing this are federal, state, and local grants.

Since its inception the university has been a center for opportunity in a variety of majors and studies. Faculty exhibits some of the best instructors in the state and in the country and distance learners gain the same access to those teachers. Above that, the university has provided world-class opportunities in research as well as springboard opportunities for employment after graduation.
