Harvard College Distance Learning

Harvard College is located at Massachusetts Hall in Cambridge, Massachusetts; this private, coeducational liberal arts college was founded in the year 1636. Harvard College is one well known for being one of the premier Ivy League programs in America; the program consistently provides high quality education to its students. Harvard College does currently offer online and distance learning programs to students and there are a variety of academic opportunities to enroll in as well as many events and sports for students to partake in.

Today, the total enrollment at Harvard College is approximately 21,000 students at this time. There around 6,700 students enrolled at Harvard College and about 14,500 enrolled in graduate and professional studies. There are 2,100 employed academic staff members at Harvard College; the student to faculty ratio is approximately ten to one; the institution offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees to students both on campus and online. There are currently many different majors offered by Harvard College for students to choose from. Harvard College offers online courses and distance learning degree programs to students that are unable to attend campus on a consistent basis. Harvard College has many other innovative programs to offer students, they offer online courses and distance learning degree programs for students to further their education while managing their schedules.

The college offers state of the art online courses that are dependable and makes learning convenient and stress-free for the student so they may learn with flexibility in accordance to their schedule. The currently available online options are the Master of Science Degree in Health Care Management Harvard School of Public Health, Digital Harvard: A Collection of Online Educational Resources and the Online Learning at the Harvard Extension School. The Online Learning at the Harvard Extension School provides more than 150 online courses for students to enroll in, enabling them to earn degrees in bachelor degrees and master degrees as well as some other special programs. Some of the fields of study available to students are Biology, Celtic languages and literatures, Clinical psychology, Dramatic arts, English, Foreign literature, Government, History, History of science, International relations, Legal studies and Linguistics to name a few.

Separately from academic responsibilities; there are many events on and around campus for students to indulge in during the school year at Harvard College. There are several student groups at Harvard College also and many more activities as well as athletics for students to get involved in. At this time there are sophisticated online and distance learning programs currently available for students at this college, there are benefits Harvard College has to offer students on campus as well as off campus. The high quality education and networking opportunities here increases the chances for academic and occupational success for the future and there are still several options available throughout the year to keep even the most robust students pleased.
