Originally founded in 1946, Lincoln College of Technology and Lincoln Educational Services have expanded their repertoire of distance learning to include Lincoln College Online. Now, more students than ever can answer Lincoln College’s invitation!

Lincoln College offers several degrees through distance learning. Students who prefer on-campus distance learning options can take advantage of Lincoln’s employment of classic distance learning. Classic distance learning seeks to bring education to students through satellite campuses or distance learning centers. Lincoln College currently operates 41 campuses in 17 states and offers technical and service degrees in a number of exciting fields. Examples include Business and Information Technology, Health Science, Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, and Automotive Technology.

Lincoln College also employs modern distance learning through Lincoln College Online. Advances in educational technology enable more students than ever to achieve their educational and professional goals. Like the on-campus programs, Lincoln College Online offers several degrees in professional fields. Online degrees are offered at both the associate’s and the bachelor’s levels.

Associate’s degrees include Advanced Medical Coding and Billing, Business Management, Criminal Justice, Graphic Design, Health Information Technology, Web Design, and Network Communication and Information Systems (NCIS) with Microsoft Systems. Most associate’s degrees can be earned in at least 2 years. The flexible format of online classes is a great option for busy working professionals.

Bachelor’s degrees are offered in Business Management, Criminal Justice and the Study of the Criminal Mind, Information Management and Security, and Integrated Marketing Communications and Design. A bachelor’s degree from Lincoln is a great option for prospective students with an associate’s to increase their knowledge from further, more in-depth study of subject matter. In fact, Lincoln College Online will work with students as they graduate from the associate’s program to transition into the bachelor’s program. Bachelor’s degrees typically take 4 years to earn, but may take less time if students already posses an associate’s and transfer credits from their associate’s study to the bachelor’s program.

Lincoln College Online is accredited by the US Department of Education through the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. The Health Information Technology program is offered online by Lincoln College of New England, and as such, is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. and the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education. Lincoln College Online seeks to help students succeed through a number of resources. In addition to offering the flexible format the distance learning online offers, student advisors, available professors, and unlimited tutoring services are also available for students. These resources indicate that Lincoln College Online is committed to student retention, success, and graduation.

Tuition and fees are not listed on Lincoln College Online’s website, but should be expected to vary by enrollment status (part time vs. full time) and degree program (associates vs. bachelors). Financial aid is available in the form of federal grants and loans, Veteran’s benefits, and alternative loans for those who qualify.
