The Globe University Minnesota School of Business is a professional career college in the Midwest. Originally founded as 2 separate institutions in Minnesota, Globe College (1885) and the Minnesota School of Business (1877), the purpose of these 2 schools was to give Minnesota youth the education needed to pursue professional careers in business through distance learning. In 1972, the Myhre family purchased Globe University. They then purchased the Minnesota School of Business in 1988 to form Globe University Minnesota School of Business, or GU/MSB.
