Financial aid is plentiful and is available to further offset the low rates of Saint Cloud State University learning. Federal grants are dispersed to 24% of all students, as a yearly average. State and local grants fill the pockets of an additional 31% of students attending Saint Cloud. The university itself supplies scholarships, grants, and awards to 21% of its students. This is a decent contribution, considering the fact that the average grant size is $2,517. For in-state students, this covers just about half of tuition costs. Federal aid can usually cover the rest.
When learning at a distance, a student may be concerned with the finalizing processes of earning a degree, passing a course, earning a credit, etc. Thankfully, Saint Cloud offers proctored exams that can be held at a location near the distance learner. This is in addition to the off-campus satellite sites that offer education to those near the university, but not near enough to commute sustainably.
