It looks like Jamie Littlefield is the editor there. – Peterson’s is a nelnet company that has a search tool to help people find a school. They also have some test preparation materials and other college related information. – The Yahoo directory is a great tool to find targeted distance learning websites. They have websites broken down by adult education, Christian schools, conferences, language schools, and more. – The USDLA is the United States Distance Learning Association which serves to unite the distance learning community by providing advocacy, information, networking, and opportunity. – Guide to Online Schools of course has a great website with a comprehensive school list, school reviews, and resources. – Northern Arizona University’s distance learning program is one of the most highly ranked in the country. They offer a growing number of degrees delivered online. – DMOZ is the most classic directory on the Internet. Only the best distance learning websites get categorized here. – The Los Angeles County Office of Education has a Center for Distance and Online Learning. Their TEAMS Education Resources have help for administrators, teachers, parents, and students. – Google is one of the top websites on the net, so it’s no wonder that they have a great directory for distance learning. – The University of Washington offers a great article on distance learning by Sheryl Burgstahler. – FCCJ owns a great domain name in and they are making wonderful use of it for their distance learning virtual college. FCCJ is a community college based in Jacksonville, Florida. – Way back in 1996, a group of educators got together and came up with these educational fair use guidelines for distance learning. – Old Dominion University offers a highly ranked distance learning program that has been a leader since the mid-1980s. – The California Distance Learning Project is maintained by the Sacramento County Office of Education. It focuses on adult learning activities about working, law, family, school, health, safety, housing, money, and more. It is very practical-oriented. – The University of Wisconsin Madison is hosting the 25th anniversary of the Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning. It is recognized internationally for the quality and integrity of its program. – Long article about issues in distance learning.
