Southeast Missouri State University is a public university that is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The state university is offering a variety of online degree programs. These online programs enable a student to earn their degree, from start to finish, 100% online.
Students can choose from undergraduate and graduate level study with a series of majors to match. Some undergraduate degree choices are the Bachelor of General Studies, the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management. All of these programs are quality degree programs that can deliver a student to their goals on their own schedule. These programs are also accredited by their respective related organizations.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program, for one, is accredited by the Association for Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business. This program is designed for students that either want a general business degree, or who want to enter finance, retails, banking, or health organization finance. The program spans 120 credit hours and makes use of online courses for its completion.
There exists also three graduate programs, the Master of Business Administration in General Management, the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and the Master of Science in Criminal Justice. These programs are narrowed in choice so that they can receive the utmost attention from Southeast Missouri staff and faculty. Nevertheless, students will find that there are a lot of options in online education, even despite the existence of only three online graduate programs.
Tuition rates are very affordable, and don’t compromise quality in the slightest. Rates are also dependent upon whether or not the student resides within the state of Missouri or not. This is because the university is state-supported. Distance learners attending this university are most likely not living in the state, but some are and can benefit from reduced tuition costs.
Undergraduates living in Missouri pay $5,544 per year for full-time study, or $209 per credit hour, if they elect to enroll part-time. Graduates living in the state will pay $5,119 per year for their full-time studies, or otherwise opt out of full-time study and pay $237 per credit hour. Undergraduates from outside of the state of Missouri experience a price increase to $10,179 per year full-time and $363 per credit hour part-time. Graduates will pay $9,439 and $417, respectively.
There are also certificate programs available for online enrollment. There is the Alternative Certification program for teachers that need to find certification in Missouri, have a bachelor’s degree in teaching from an accredited institution, and who have a teaching contract offer from a public or private school. There is also the English for Speakors of Other Languages Certification program that certifies language teachers for teaching in public or private schools as well. Either or these programs require a committed teaching student and are best recommended for those that want graduate qualifications, but who can’t afford graduate school for their master’s.
