This post is intended for all fun purposes. If you learn something from it, then great! I am finding out that you can do certain things (and certain things even exist) and decided to share some of the them with you all. From things you didn’t know you could do on Craigslist, to things you didn’t know you could rent, this post has got a little something for everyone.
Craigslist, as I am just now finding out, has several aspects to the website that are not exactly well-known. Features such as Craigslist TV, which details real people’s lives who post on Craigslist – such as someone looking for a rollerblading partner.
Craigslist also has discussion forums, so you, yourself, can be a part of the Craigslist experience. After all, if we are searching for the perfect curb alert or garage sale, we can probably seek answers to questions or seek help troubleshooting via Craigslist too!
Craigslist also has a blog, which frankly, hasn’t been used much – until this year. Highlighting obscure Craigslist stories, such as “Pig-owning Lesbian Masseuse Seeks Roommate,” the blog may be worth at least skimming the titles – if not actually reading something that peaks your interest.
Among those three things, you can also apply for charitable grants – as Craigslist has several issues they would enjoy partaking in, such as veteran issues and free software. And for kicks and giggles, you may want to check out Craigslist’s Best Of page, which includes everything from “free weave” to “nemesis wanted.”
Things You Didn’t Know You Could Rent Out:
According to collegehumor, there are a couple of things that you didn’t know you could rent. I, in fact, knew none of them. Of course the dollars to back up the rent aren’t an option for most of us, it’s still interesting to know what money can buy us. From the fastest legal road car (a Bugatti Veyron) to a country, you can rent crazily if the price is right.
Although most of us would not want to spend that much on a rental car, for 18,000$ a day, you can rent out the Bugatti Veyron. Of course, you will never be able to drive it crazily with all of the traffic restrictions that are for your safety, as well as other’s. There is a tracking device inside the car that will stop you from doing it if you are tempted.
Ever think, “Why are you so obsessed with me?” as you hair flip your way into the classroom when the teacher asks why you are late? Well, now you can buy your own paparazzi! The most expensive set is $2,500, which includes a body guard, publicist, and limousine for two hours. The company that hosts this event is called “Celeb 4 A Day.”
Want to rent a country? Leichtenstein, a small country, offers the rental of their country for 70,000$, provided that you stay at least two nights. You get to have your own currency and key to the town too. How interesting!
